FULL RESULTS
University Park, Pa. – The Illinois men's and women's cross country teams both took sixth place at the 2021 Big Ten Cross Country Championships on Friday morning in University Park, Pa. Jon Davis led the Illini men's squad, finishing in third place in the 5.2-mile race with a time of 24:44.0 to lead the Orange and Blue. In the women's 6k, freshman Annalyssa Crain led the Illini with a time of 21:11.0 and a 17th-place finish.
Tyler Cushing was the second Illini to cross the finish line on the men's side, finishing in 12th place with a time of 25:13.0. Colin Yandel rounded out the top three Illini, earning a 37th-place spot with a time of 25:52.1.
On the women's side, senior Emma Milburn also finished in the top 20 with a 19th-place finish and a time of 21:13.5, while Allison McGrath was the third Illini to finish, crossing with a time of 21:37.4. Olivia Howell was just behind McGrath with a 44th-place finish and a time of 21:45.1.
