Assisted Listening Devices
Hearing assistance devices are designed to enhance the public address announcements made in Memorial Stadium. These devices can be checked out on game day at the west and east Guest Service kiosks and must be returned within 30 minutes of the end of the game.Â
Courtesy Golf Cart Shuttle Services
Golf cart shuttle services are available to patrons that need assistance in the ADA parking lots surrounding State Farm Center. The shuttle service will begin 2.5 hours prior to kickoff and will run continuously up to 15 minutes before kickoff. Shuttle service will resume at the end of each game as soon as pedestrian traffic allows. The pre-game drop-off and post-game pick-up location at the stadium for the west side will be on Kirby Avenue near the SW entrance and for the east side will be on Kirby Avenue near the SE entrance.
Cars wanting to drop off patrons close to the stadium can utilize the circle drives on both the east and west sides of State Farm Center, before relocating to a parking lot.
Shuttles will NOT be permitted to drop off or pick up patrons within the stadium following gates opening unless there is an extraordinary circumstance or need for medical transport.
Entrances
Access to ADA seating in the horseshoe is through Gate 31 via the SE Entrance on the east side of the stadium and through Gate 32 via the SW Entrance on the west side of the stadium. Access to ADA seating in the North Stands is through the NW Entrance on the northwest side of the stadium. Access to ADA seating in the west balcony is through the SW Entrance or NW Entrance.
Elevators
Accessible elevators for the west balcony are located in the Great West Hall near Gate 10 (north) and Gate 24 (south). Only the north elevator will be available for pre-game use to the west balcony. Post-game, both the north and south elevators will be available for patrons. NOTE: The north elevator will be held for brief periods of time and will be inaccessible for public use at various times during pre-game and at halftime.
Parking
A limited number of accessible parking spaces, including van accessible spaces, are provided in the four quadrants of State Farm Center. The fee for all ADA parking is $30Â unless you have an I FUND parking pass.
A persons with disabilities license plate or handicap placard is required to park in these spaces. Use of a disabled plate or placard without presence of a disabled person in the vehicle is a violation of the state motor vehicle code and will result in the vehicle being towed.
Service Animals
Registered service animals and service animals in training are permitted in Memorial Stadium. Animals must remain under the control of their handlers at all times.
Ticketing/Seating
Accessible (wheelchair) seating is located in the south horseshoe, north stands (UIUC students/general public overflow), and the west balcony with chairs available for able-bodied companions. The following policies and procedures will be in place for persons with a disability:
- Persons with a disability who are in a wheelchair can acquire accessible seating accommodations based on availability, within the accessible seating areas listed above.
- If wheelchair accessible seating is needed, whether the tickets were purchased from the ticket office or otherwise acquired, a person must provide their tickets for exchange to the Ticket Office as soon as possible to ensure a wheelchair accessible seat with a companion seat is available. Guests with disabilities may also exchange tickets at Guest Services kiosk (located on the west and east concourses) on game day beginning when gates open 1.5 hours prior to kickoff. The ticket office will provide comparable ticket options based on availability. Ticket exchanges are handled on a first come, first served basis.
Wheelchair Check-Out
For the convenience of guests with disabilities, wheelchairs are available to check out at either Guest Services location on both the east and west concourses. For security purposes, guests will need to provide a valid ID in order to check-out a wheelchair. Wheelchairs are used solely for transport to and from guests’ seating locations and must be returned once the transport is complete.
Additionally, patrons can also request a wheelchair transport at the SE and SW entrances. For security purposes, guests will need to complete a brief reservation form in order to utilize wheelchair services.
