Parking Lot Fees
- Parking lots marked as orange are available for purchase on gameday for $30.
- Gameday lots marked in teal have spaces available for purchase in-advance for $25. Automobiles with pull behinds are allowed in Lots 47 and 49 for $50 on gameday.
- Lots marked in navy blue on the map are pass-only lots.
- Recreational vehicles/motor homes may park in Lot 33 for $100 on gameday. Lot 33 opens the day before the game for overnight parking.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available in the State Farm Center Quadrant lots (34, 35, 38 & 39). Patrons requiring accessible parking may park in any of these lots for $30 on gameday. Patrons who have a pass for any of the gameday pass lot are also permitted to use ADA parking in the State Farm Center Quadrant. A valid ADA placard or license plate must be displayed for access to any of the ADA spaces.
All transactions will be cashless.

Hours
Parking lots are open to patrons starting at 7 AM on gameday.
Overnight Parking
Parking on the night prior to home football games will be limited to RVs only (Lots 33) starting at 6 PM. Patrons are not allowed to save parking spots or inhabit lots prior to 7 AM on gamedays. Patrons wanting to stay overnight on gamedays will need to relocate to Lot 33.
RV/Motorhome Parking
RV parking is available starting at 7 AM on gameday in Lot 33 for $100. Overnight parking is available in Lot 33 beginning at 6 PM the night before gameday. At 7 AM on gameday morning, lot attendants will come around to collect payment.
Prohibited Items
The following items or actions are not allowed in parking lots: personal golf carts, non-confined fires, weapons, fireworks, advertising banners or displays, picketing or political campaigning, solicitation, drones, tethered blimps, balloons, and other oversized inflatables.
Shuttle Service
C-U MTD has a football game day “Tran-Sport Route.” The route has numerous pick-up points throughout campus. For more information call 217-384-8188 or go online at mtd.org.
In addition, DIA will provide 15-passenger shuttles to transport patrons to and from the following lots on gameday:
- Lot 46
- Lot 47
- Lot 49
- VETMED
- Research Park
Shuttle pickup locations are indicated by a white square on the gameday parking map.
Tailgating Policies - VIEW MORE
- When tailgating, please ensure you are not blocking the driving aisle, or occupying another parking space. For safety, all aisle ways must have room for emergency vehicles to pass through.
- One parking spot per vehicle. A parking pass must accompany each vehicle.
- The use and/or operation of remote-controlled equipment (including drones and toys) is strictly prohibited on campus – including gamedays. All grounds and parking lots are considered part of campus.
- Golf carts, mopeds, scooters, ATVs, hover boards, and other custom motorized vehicles are not permitted on campus unless authorized by Illinois DIA and/or the UIPD.
- Parking lot personnel reserve the right to restrict use of any tailgate item due to weather, improper use, or dangerous conditions, including tents. Parking lot personnel also reserve the right to revoke passes used for unauthorized
Group Tailgating
- Lot 44 will be available for large group tailgating this season. You may view group ticket and tailgating options available for purchase here. Groups must have reservations to have access to this lot.
- For large group tents of 50+ people, tickets must be purchased before finalizing a tent reservation - In an effort to ensure as many groups as possible can enjoy the best tailgate experience in the Big Ten, group tent sizes will be dictated by the number of tickets purchased. Please see below for corresponding size limits:

Lot 31 Parking Rules and Regulations
Passes: Lot 31 passes are given out on a season basis to I FUND members at the Oskee level and above who give a minimum of $2,500 annually. Each pass allows the pass holder to occupy two (2) 9x16 spaces. Spaces can be stacked vertically or horizontally. Parking attendants will be checking passes to maintain proper space usage.
Entrance: Lot 31 opens at 7 AM each gameday and spaces are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure this process, all cars entering at 7 AM will queue in the same direction, and enter the furthest north entrance on Oak St. All cars will enter Oak St. from Kirby westbound until initial surge has been accommodated (see queueing illustration below).
Rules
- All parking passes will be scanned upon entry. There are no pass-outs. Cars may not “drop” and return at a later time, regardless of gametime.
- All vehicles that enter the lot are required to have a pass. If another vehicle wants to “pick up” individuals after the drop, they must remain on Oak St.
- Personal and private portapotties may not enter the lot until 7 AM and must queue along with other vehicles entering the lot.
- Other items (ropes, cones, flags, etc.) may NOT be used to save spots prior to their vehicle entering beginning at 7 AM.
- No walk-ups. No tailgating may take place in Lot 31 without a pass. (i.e. no one may walk up to Lot 31 and utilize spaces for tailgating)
