MaKayla Gayler Named Head Cheerleading Coach at Illinois

The Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the hiring of MaKayla Gayler as the University's next Head Cheerleading Coach. In addition to leading the Fighting Illini Cheerleading program, Gayler will serve in a role within the Athletics Department in marketing and fan engagement, helping elevate the Illinois game day experience while supporting fan-focused initiatives across all sports.
