EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Illinois men's and women's cross country teams completed the Big Ten Championships on Friday (Oct. 31) at the Forest Akers Golf Courses.
Joshua Daggett once again led the way for the Orange and Blue men as he finished in 50th place in the 8k on a time of 24:25.5. A pair of freshmen finished behind Daggett to round out the Illinois top-3 finishers being Adam Patel in 65th place (24:38.6) and Pol Molins in 104th (25:17.5). As a team, the men's squad finished in 13th place out of 15 teams with 367 points.
Nora Wollen paced the Illini women in the 6k finishing in 47th place on a time of 21:03.6. Avril Andre was the next Illini runner to cross the line in 86th place (21:45.1) followed by Kennady Anderson in 107th place (22:06.1) to round out the Illinois top-3 finishers. The women's team finished in 13th place out of 18 teams with 398 points.
