COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Fighting Illini men's and women's cross country teams completed their regular season at Pre-Nationals on Friday (Oct. 17) at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course.
Nora Wollen once again paced the Illini women's squad running a 20:33.7 time in the 6k to take 50th place overall. Avril Andre was the next Illini to finish in 70th place (20:48.0) and Mirey Bugeja rounded out the women's top-3 finishers in 192nd place (21:51.6). The women's squad finished in 26th place out of 38 teams with 701 points.
Joshua Daggett led the way for the Orange and Blue men's team finishing the 8k in 24:19.9 which placed him 65th. Pol Molins (24:57.8) and Trey Sato (25:11.8) were the next two Illini to finish in 121st and 150th place, respectively. The men's team finished 24th out of 31 teams with 649 points.
