First baseman Drake Westcott was named to the All-Tournament team as the Illini went 1-1 at the Big Ten Tournament to conclude the 2025 season at 30-24. In the narrow defeat to No. 2-seeded UCLA, Westcott went 2-for-5 with a home run, a run scored, and an RBI. In the Illini's first game of the week, a 6-5 win against No. 7-seeded Michigan, Westcott posted three hits, going 3-for-5 with a home run, a run scored, and an RBI. The redshirt senior homered in both games of the Big Ten Tournament, marking the second time this season in which he homered in consecutive games.
Westcott earned a graduate certificate in strategic leadership and management earlier this month.
