Destiny Jackson delivered a record-breaking performance that led Illinois to a 92–65 road win over Northwestern on Sunday, February 22. The freshman tallied 19 points while adding seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals without committing a turnover. With her sixth assist of the game, Jackson broke Illinois' freshman single-season assist record. She now has 142 assists this season, ranking ninth on the program's overall single-season assists list.
