Drake Westcott | R-Jr., Baseball | Major: Recreation, Sport, & Tourism
The Fighting Illini baseball team took two of three in weekend series at home vs. Iowa, led by Drake Westcott. Westcott hit .400 over the three games with three runs scored, a double, home run, two RBIs and four walks. His home run in Friday's 10-5 victory marked his 14th of the season, tied for the third-most in the Big Ten Conference. The first baseman was also nearly flawless on defense, coming up with several timely plays in the three close games.
Westcott is a redshirt junior in Recreation, Sport, & Tourism with a 3.43 GPA.
