Liv Dorshorst | FR., Swimming & Diving | Major: Psychology

The Fighting Illini swimming and diving team, led by a strong performance from freshman Liv Dorshorst, captured a two-day dual meet victory at Iowa, 216-137, Jan. 13-14 in Iowa City, Iowa.  

On Day 1, Dorshorst delivered a victory for the Illini in the 1650 freestyle, posting a time of 16:37.75, the second-fastest time in school history. Later, Dorshorst then posted the second-fastest time in program history in the 1000m freestyle, finishing in 10:02.88.

On Day 2, the Illini completed the victory as Dorshorst continued her winning ways, finishing first in the 500 free with a time of 5:00.90. 

Dorshorst is a freshman from Kildeer, Ill., studying psychology.
