Jayden Epps | FR., Men's Basketball | Major: General Studies (Undeclared)

The Fighting Illini men's basketball team returned to the win column in a big way on Saturday, Jan. 7, knocking off No. 14/15-ranked Wisconsin, 79-69, in front of a sell-out crowd at State Farm Center behind double-digit scoring efforts from four Illini, including freshman guard Jayden Epps.

Epps tallied 15 points off the bench, shooting 5-for-8 from the floor, including a pair of three-pointers in the Illini's win over the the Badgers who entered the day atop the Big Ten standings. He also added three rebounds, two assists and a steal in the victory. 

A native of Norfolk, Va., Epps is a true freshman at Illinois. He is currently a general studies (undeclared) major.
