MELBOURNE, Fla. â The Illinois women's golf team finished up action at the Columbia Classic on Monday (February 14) at the par-72, 6,357-yard Duran Golf Club, placing fourth after posting a final round score of 303 (+15) for a tournament total of 886 (+22).
"There are many positives to take from this event," said head coach Renee Slone. "After a slow start to the tournament, the team showed some tremendous resilience while posting the low round of the event yesterday led by Crystal's terrific 68. As the scoring indicated, conditions were challenging today. Kudos to Lexanne on a great round! Moving forward we can manage our games a bit better when adapting to various conditions. Looking forward to building on this start to the spring season at the ICON!"
