• Chose Illinois because: "I chose the University of Illinois for many reasons such as the location, the practice facilities, the coaches, and the academics. I was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, where some good friends live and knowing they are only two hours away with my family being in Texas is very comforting. The Demirjian Indoor and Lauritsen/Wohlers Outdoor Golf Practice Facilities are beautiful and a great place to improve in all weather conditions in all aspects of my game. Coach Slone and Coach Pina were both so nice, knowledgeable, and inquisitive in the recruiting process as well as very successful in recent years with the team. They were both a large reason why I chose to come to the University of Illinois as they both focused on my personality and growth as much as the golf. The University of Illinois has a very high academic standard as well as a competitive business program. I can't wait to become part of the Illini family!"
