Full Schedule
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois men's and women's cross country schedule has been released for fall 2021. The Orange and Blue are scheduled to have six meets this fall throughout September and October, not including the NCAA Regionals and NCAA Championships, which will take place in November. Each meet throughout the season will be held on a Friday aside from the NCAA Championships.
The Fighting Illini will kick off the 2021 campaign at the EIU Walt Crawford Open in Charleston, Illinois, on Friday, September 3rd. The next two meets will take place at Illinois State for the Red Bird Invite (9/17) and Notre Dame for the Joe Piane Invite (10/1).
Pre-Nationals are scheduled for Friday, October 15th at Florida State, one week before the Illini will hold their lone home meet of the season on October 22nd. The Big Ten Championships are slated for the following week, October 29th, and will be held at Penn State.
The NCAA Regional will be held at Iowa on Friday, November 12th, with the NCAA Championships taking place the following weekend on Saturday, November 20th. The Championships will be held at Florida State.
