Josie Frazier | JR, Women's Tennis | Major: Accountancy

The Fighting Illini women's tennis team hosted the ITA Midwest Regionals at the Atkins Tennis Center, and the team put in a tremendous effort to climb the ladder in both their singles and doubles matches.

Junior Josie Frazier had an incredible performance over the weekend advancing to the round of 16 in singles. As a result of her performance, Frazier has now qualified to compete in the ITA Midwest Super Regional in October.

Alongside her partner Kate Duong, Frazier also qualified for the Super Regionals in doubles. The team is now preparing for the tournament which will be held at Ohio State, Oct. 22-26. 

Frazier, a native of Scottsdale, Ariz., is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy.
