The No. 20 Fighting Illini Women's Golf team earned their second tournament title of the season on Sunday at the Cardinal Cup. The Orange and Blue posted a three-round total of 863 (-1), 19 strokes ahead of second-place Maryland.

The Illini were led by junior Tristyn Nowlin's career-best finish as she captured the individual tournament title for her first career victory. Nowlin finished the two-day event with a 210 (-6). This ties Nowlin for the third lowest 54-hole tournament total in program history.
