The Illinois men's cross country team dominated the annual Pack-It-Up Challenge, sweeping the top 10 overall finishes. Led by Senior Eric Wallor with a finish time of 25:43.24, Illinois won the race with a total of 15 points. This is also Wallor's second top finish for Illinois this season.
Head Coach Wendel McRaven is enthusiastic about Illinois' performance. "Today was a good practice for the next few upcoming meets. It gave us a chance to get back into competition and get ready for the upcoming Lakefront Invitational."
The top five runners after Wallor included Sophomores Maciej Sniegorski, finishing second overall with a time of 25:50.61, Tim Kelly with a time of 25:51:27, and Michael Kelley posting a finish of 25:53.59.
Rounding out the top six were Justin Aronson finishing fifth with a time of 25:57.62, and Ian Clausen posting a finish of 25:58.23.
