This Saturday, the Illinois men's cross country team will host the annual "Pack- It- Up" Challenge at the UI Arboretum. This is the first home meet of the season for the Illini, as well as new head coach Wendel McRaven's home opener.
Led by senior Eric Wallor, the Illini will make their return to Champaign after a season opening race at the University of Iowa invitational two weeks ago.
Also competing for the Illini will be returnee sophomores Justin Aronson, Dan Stock, Michael Kelley, Tim Kelly, and Maciej Sniegorski. Also making their home debut for the Illini this season are Ian Clausen, Brad Topol, Stephen Rogers, Tim Maier, Art Glaz, and Dan Walters.
Teams scheduled to compete are Illinois, Illinois State, and Loyola. The men will begin the 8K race at 9am, followed by the Illinois women's team at 10am running a 5K.
