Illinois Track and Field Signee Alivizatos Springs to World U20 #2 High Jump

ATHENS, Greece -- Incoming Illinois track and field high jumper signee Charalampos Alivizatos set a new personal best in the high jump at the 2026 Greek National Championships. He sprung up to 2.25m (7-4 1/2) which is now the No. 2 mark in the world for a U20 athlete in the 2026 season. His 2.25m leap would be the program record indoors by four centimeters.
