Led by Kaden Feagin's second career 100-yard rushing performance, No. 9 Illinois shut out Western Michigan, 38-0, on Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd at Gies Memorial Stadium. Feagin finished with 100 yards on the ground, carrying the ball 20 times and posting his third rushing score of the 2025 campaign. He now has rushing touchdowns in all three games this season.
The Illini extended their winning streak to seven games, tied for the longest active streak in the nation with Ohio State and Memphis. Illinois (3-0) posted its first shutout of the season and outscored Western Michigan, 28-0, in the second half.
Feagin is a junior majoring in recreation, sport, and tourism with a concentration in sport management.
