CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini men's and women's track and field teams will host the Gary Wieneke Memorial at Demirjian Park on Friday (May 2). Track and field events are slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. and the Senior Day ceremony will start at 5:30 p.m. CT.

The women's team includes: Kennady Anderson, Sophia Beckmon, Mabry Bruhn, Azariyah Bryant, Olivia Campbell, Faith Deering, Llyric Driscoll, Halle Hill, Tacoria Humphrey, Lucie Kienast, Jordan Koskondy, Amalia Malecek, Lydia Malecek, Mia Morello, Elizabeth Ndudi, Ashley Oliver, Sam Poglitsch, Bara Sajdokova, Abria Smith, Asia Thomas, Tori Thomas, Melissa Wullschleger and Rose Yeboah.

The men's team features: Javaris Ambrose, Joshua Daggett, Nicolas Dovalovsky, Zachary Galvicius, Kam Garrett, Jackson Gilbert, Reece Ihenacho, Dewayne Johnson, Cody Johnston, Shawn Juliette, Eleftherios Kontonikola, Daniel Lucas, Anthony Maida, Brady Masters, Will Merrick, Stephen Moody, Viktor Morozov, Jayon Morrow, Alex Ornelas, Rafael Raap, Will Rezny, Michail Rose, Trey Sato, CJ Shoaf and Alex Sohn.

Last week at the Fighting Illini Twilight, five different athletes recorded a top-10 program mark. Beckmon clocked a wind-aided 23.06 in the 200m, the sixth-fastest time in school history, with Bryant close behind (23.22w). Bryant also won the 100m (11.36), followed by Thomas with the eighth-fastest program time (11.41). Deering's 58.95m (193-5) hammer throw ranks fifth all-time.

On the men's side, Rezny threw 18.71m (61-4 3/4) in the shot put (No. 5 all-time) and Sohn threw 17.88m (58-8), No. 10 all-time. In the pole vault, Morello 4.25m (13-11 1/4) and Johnston 5.33m (17-5 3/4) both earned gold. Other winners included Poglitsch (1500m, 4:23.98), Morozov (long jump, 7.62m (25-0)), Merrick (800m, 1:49.84) and Moody (1500m, 3:47.64).
