Mia Takekawa | Grad., Women's Gynmastics | Major: Bioengineering

Mia Takekawa led the way for the No. 24 Illinois women's gymnastics program in the Illini's quad meet vs. No. 9 Alabama, No. 17 Minnesota, and Talladega College last Friday in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Takekawa earned a share of the bars title, posting a score of 9.950 to match Alabama's Luisa Blanco, and also recorded Illinois' top score on beam with a score of 9.900. 

Takekawa, a graduate student from Sacramento, Calif., majors in bioengineering and has a 4.0 GPA.
