Scholar Athlete of the Week | Adalia McKenzie

Senior guard Adalia McKenzie was named the Prairie Farms Scholar Athlete of the Week after playing a key role in the Fighting Illini women's basketball team's 73-50 win over Southern Indiana on Dec. 15. McKenzie scored in double figures for the eighth time this season, posting 16 points against the Screaming Eagles. McKenzie went 6-for-11 from the field while grabbing three of her five rebounds on the offensive glass, dishing out four assists, and making one steal.

McKenzie is a senior majoring in recreation, sport, and tourism.
