AZUSA/WALNUT, Calif. – The Illinois men's and women's track and field teams completed day two of competition at the Mount SAC Relays and senior Danni Stoughton finished day one at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Wednesday, April 12.  Junior Aiden Ouimet broke his own school record for the decathlon with 7,433 points.
Ouimet sprinted a new personal-best 110mH (14.79) to open up today's decathlon action. His fifth place finish in the pole vault, 4.70m (15-5), added 819 points to his total. He rounded out his decathlon with a seventh place finish in the 1500m (4:52.01); this added the final 607 points to spring him past his previous record total of 7,348 points.
FROM MT. SAC (Walnut)
Redshirt junior Ayah Aldadah placed second in the collegiate division of the 3,000m steeplechase (10:20.84). Graduate student Emma Milburn placed fifth in the elite division (10:35.02).
Volunteer assistant coach Ken Mullings won the 110mH (13.95) and placed fifth in the javelin throw, 58.50m (191-11). He placed fifth in the decathlon with 7,933 points.
Junior Tyler Cushing completed his first track 10,000m race and placed twelfth (29:55.89). Redshirt Junior Colin Yandel placed 15th (30:14.18).
FROM BRYAN CLAY (Azusa)
Stoughton completed the first part of the heptathlon with a pair of new personal-best. She sprinted a 24.65 in the 200m dash and earned silver with her effort. In the shot put she tossed a 10.41m (32-2). She currently resides in eleventh place with 2,876 points.
UP NEXT
The track and field teams return to action tomorrow, April 14 for day three of the Mt. SAC Relays and Stoughton will finish out the heptathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

- Placed second in the 200m dash with a new PB (24.65).
- Placed 11th in the shot put with a new PB, 10.41m (34-2).
- Tied for 12th in the high jump, 1.55m (5-1).
- Placed 25th in the 100mH (15.93).
