CHAMPAIGN, Ill – Illinois women's track and field high jumper Kandie Bloch-Jones and 60m hurdler Pedrya Seymour qualified for NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, held March 10-11 in College Station, Texas at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium. Both returning All-Americans, Bloch-Jones will be making her third appearance at the indoor national meet, while Seymour competes for the second time.

Both ranked in the top-10 of their respective events for the majority of the indoor season, Seymour is currently tied for third in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.98, while Bloch-Jones is tied for seventh with a height of 6'0.25" (1.85m).

Bloch-Jones has twice earned All-American honors indoors, last year placing 12th at the national indoor meet, while also earning her first outdoor All-American honor last season. The Illini senior's best mark came at the Illini Classic on January 14 when she cleared 6'0.25" (1.85m), just shy of the 6'0.75" (1.87m) school record. Last weekend, Bloch-Jones placed fourth at Big Ten Championships with a height of 5'10.5" (1.79m).

Seymour qualifies for NCAA Championships with the third best time in NCAA Division I, twice clocking 7.98 this season. The Illini redshirt junior ran her first 7.98 time at the Rod McCravy meet on January 21 before duplicating the performance at Big Ten Championships to finish runner-up. Seymour will be making her second appearance at NCAA Indoor Championships after placing 15th at last year's meet on her way to a breakthrough season. The Illini hurdler went on to earn All-America honors in the 100m hurdles and represent the Bahamas in the Rio Olympics, placing sixth in the final.

The women's high jump will be contested at 6 p.m. central time on Friday, March 10, while 60m hurdles semifinal is scheduled for 6:50 p.m. The 60m hurdles final will take place the following evening, March 11, at 5 p.m.

Both days of NCAA Indoor Championships will be streamed live on ESPN3.com. Friday's coverage begins at 5:25 p.m. central time, while Saturday's stream will start at 3:55 p.m. A re-airing of the meet will be broadcast Sunday, March 12 on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. central time.
