Ejesieme Earns Second-Team All-America Honors

EUGENE, Ore. - Jesica Ejesieme represented the Illinois women's track and field team at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Wednesday. Ejesieme placed 15th in the 400m hurdles to earn second-team All-America honors for the second time in her career.

Ejesieme qualified for the national meet after clocking a personal-best time of 57.21 at the NCAA West Prelims. The senior placed 15th at the NCAAs with a time of 58.34 to earn her second-career All-America honors. Her first honor came in 2012 when she placed 10th in the 400m hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
