Iowa State NCAA Qualifier Schedule

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Junior Tamika Robinson and the 4x400m relay squad will compete this Saturday, March 6 at Iowa State's NCAA Qualifier meet in Ames, Iowa in hopes of improving their positioning to be selected for the NCAA Indoor Championships field. Competition will be held on the 300-meter track at the Lied Recreation Center.

Robinson holds the nation's 14th-fastest time in the 60m hurdles after running a personal-best time of 8.25 during the prelims of the Big Ten Indoor Championships. The Chicago, Ill., native will run the prelims of the event at 11 a.m., while the finals of the 60m hurdles will take place at 12:10 p.m.

The Illini 4x400m relay of sophomores Ryisha Boyd and Ashley Kelly, freshman Marissa Golliday and junior Melissa Bates, which currently ranks 20th in the nation, was the runner-up at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with a time of 3:37.16. The foursome will compete at 3:30 p.m. CT.

The NCAA Indoor Championships are scheduled for March 12-13 in Fayetteville, Ark., at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
