Andrew Chang joined the University of Illinois Sports Medicine staff in July of 2021. He graduated from Long Beach State in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. During that time he did rotations at Santa Ana Community College and with the UCLA football and track and field programs. From 2017-18 he was an intern at Sacramento State working with football, track and field, and softball. Andrew received his MS in Advanced Athletic Training – Pediatric Sports Medicine from the University of South Florida in 2020 where he also worked with the football and women’s tennis teams. He completed a seasonal internship with the San Francisco 49ers during the 2020 season. Chang was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Santa Clara, California.
