CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois women's golf will make the short trip to West Lafayette, Indiana, for the Boilermaker Spring Classic, held April 12-13, at the Ackerman-Allen Course.
LAST TIME OUT
Illinois last competed at the Coach Mo Classic in St. Augustine, Fla., March 30-31. As a team, the Orange and Blue finished fifth of 16 squads, its second top-five finish of the spring season. Victoria Zheng was the team's individual low scorer, carded a 217 (+1) overall, finishing tenth.
THE COURSE
The Ackerman-Allen course was designed by Pete Dye, who is credited with designing more than 200 golf courses during his lifetime, including four in Illinois and 20 in Indiana. The course features hills, tree-lined fairways, and white-sand bunkers. The course yardage is 6,211 yards for the event, with a par of 72.

THE FIELD
The field consists of 15 other teams playing alongside the No. 54 Fighting Illini, including host and No. 48 Purdue, Bradley, Butler, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Denver, Findlay, Illinois State, No. 71 Minnesota, Northern Illinois, No. 69 Princeton, Purdue Fort Wayne, South Dakota State, No. 60 USF, and No. 86 Wisconsin.
TEE TIMES AND SCORING
Both days will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. CT, with two rounds being played on Sunday, and the final round on Monday. Live scoring will be updated on Scoreboard by Clippd, and a recap and results will be posted on FightingIllini.com after each day of play.
ILLINOIS AT THE BOILERMAKER SPRING CLASSIC
In 2025, the Fighting Illini won the Boilermaker Spring Classic on the same course, registering an 875 (+11), to finish one stroke ahead of Denver. Anna Ritter was the team's low scorer, finishing in fourth, and leading the field with 42 pars over the two days of play. Victoria Zheng finished tied for 16th to contribute to the team win, finishing with a 222 (+6), seven strokes off of Ritter. Brielle Mapanao placed tied for 48th, while Erica Lee, competing as an individual, finished tied for 28th.
