
Yeboah Sets Big Ten and School Records on Day One of Razorback Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 1 women's and No. 9 men's track and field teams finished the first day of the Razorback Invitational on Friday (Jan. 30) from the Randal Tyson Track Center. High jumper Rose Yeboah matched a Big Ten and school record in her 2026 season debut.
Yeboah improved her own school record mark in the high jump to 1.94m (6-4 1/4) in her debut meet for the 2026 season. Not only is it the program record but it matched the indoor Big Ten record with Nebraska's Jenna Rodgers who cleared the same height last season.
Cody Johnston broke the program record in the pole vault in his win when he cleared 5.67m (18-7 1/4). It shattered Dean Starkey's 37-year-old program record of 5.65m (18-6 1/2) originally set in 1989.
Jordan Koskondy improved her program's second-best weight throw today to 23.08m (75-8 3/4) in her second-place finish. Sophia Beckmon improved her NCAA lead and program's second-best long jump to 6.85m (22-5 3/4) while Elizabeth Ndudi leaped the program's third-best mark, 6.63m (21-9), which is second in the NCAA.
In the pentathlon Meagan Humphries took the bronze medal today with a score of 4,197 points which is the third-best score in program history and the current No. 7 score in the NCAA. Kristine Blazevica placed seventh with the school's seventh-best score of 3,928 points. Gator Young entered the program record book with a 5.30m (17-4 1/2) vault which is the ninth-best mark in school history.

The Orange and Blue track and field crews return to action tomorrow (Jan. 31) for the final day of the Razorback Invitational. Track events start at 10 a.m. and field events begin at 12:45 p.m. CT. Fans can watch on ESPN+.
