Three Illini Win Events on Final Day of USF Alumni Invitational

TAMPA, Fla. – The Illinois men's and women's track and field teams completed the first meet of their outdoor season at the USF Alumni Invitational on Saturday (March 22).

Both Will Merrick (3:44.30) and Halle Hill (4:20.09) took the crown in their respective 1500m races while Azariyah Bryant also claimed gold in the 100m (11.32). Nicolas Dovalovsky (3:44.34) and Kennady Anderson (4:22.54) earned silver in the 1500m as well.

The Orange and Blue track and field crews return to action in two weeks with the Florida Relays on April 4-5 in Gainesville, Fla.
