FAYETTEVILLE, Ark./BOSTON – The No. 4 women's and No. 12 men's track and field teams completed the Tyson Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 15) from Randal Tyson Track Center. Halle Hill was the lone competitor at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston where she broke national champion Olivia Howell's three-year-old (2022) school record mile (4:33.75) with a time of 4:32.86.
Morgan Smalls entered her name into the high jump top-10 list with the program's ninth-best leap today, 1.80m (5-10 3/4). Tadeas Placek returned to the 800m top-10 list on the program's 10th-fastest time (1:48.92).
Tori Thomas was the highest finishers across all events for the Orange and Blue today when she took sliver in the pole vault invitational section, 4.44m (14-6 3/4). Asia Thomas was the next highest taking fifth place in the 200m invitational (23.33).

The Orange and Blue track and field crews return to action on Saturday (Feb. 22) at the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
