ATHENS, Ga. – The Illinois women's golf finished the first two rounds of the Liz Murhpey Collegiate Classic in eighth after carding team total rounds of 302 (+14) and 289 (+1).
Yurang Li and Lexanne Halama pace the Illini, with the duo each tied for 26th at 4-over. Li posted rounds of 76 (+4) and 72 (E) while Halama tallied rounds of 78 (+6) and 70 (-2) and amassed six birdies during her second 18 of the day.
Anna Ritter is tied for 42nd after rounds of back-to-back rounds of 75 (+5). Isabel Sy is tied for 55th, carding rounds of 82 (+10) and 72 (E). Erica Lee finished the day tied for 65th after rounds of 73 (+1) and 83 (+11).
Sophia Sulkar, competing individually, is 73rd after her rounds of 77 (+5) and 81 (+9).
Auburn currently holds the team lead at 3-under, while Kansas State's Carla Bernat leads individually at 8-under.
The Fighting Illini will be back in action in tomorrow, with final round tee times beginning at 7:35 a.m. CT.
