CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Illinois baseball team is set to host Purdue this weekend for a three game series at Illinois Field. The Illini won three of five games against the Boilermakers in 2021, including a combined no-hitter on 4/25/21 in which the Illini won 1-0. Illinois also swept that weekend series against the Boilermakers.

Illinois (10-12) is coming off an 11-7 loss against Missouri on Tuesday night at GCS Ballpark in Sauget, Illinois. Last weekend, the Illini won their first Big Ten series of the season, taking two of three games from Michigan State to begin conference play with a 2-1 record.
