AUBURN, Ala. – The Fighting Illini diving team finished up their three day stay at the Auburn Diving Invite on Tuesday, Dec. 20. Platform dive was the final event. There were only finals scores today, no prelim round.

Four Illini dove on the final day: Senior Erin Young, junior Taylor Michael, sophomore Hannah Hong and freshman Abby Manos. Young was the top Illini today and she improved her personal-best platform mark to 189.85. Manos followed suit and raised her personal-best as well to 167.35, her second PB of the trip.

The full Illinois swimming and diving team will be back in action after the holiday break. They will be at the ARC on Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. CT to host rival Purdue.
