CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois head coach Jeana Kempe has been selected as an assistant coach for the 2026 FISU America Games in Lima, Peru, from July 24-26. She joins student-athlete Chloe Diner, who was announced as a competitor earlier this spring.
Dave Rollins of FGCU will serve as head coach, while Molly Hebzynski of Oakland will be team lead. Selected as assistant coaches alongside Kempe include Ryan Bubb of FAU, Lauren Sullivan of Arizona, Jeanne Fleck of Fresno State, Antonio Nunez of FGCU, and Johno Fergusson of Wisconsin.
The event brings together top university student-athletes from North America, South America, and Central America, and will be held at the Videna Aquatic Center, also the site for the 2027 Pan American Games. The FISU America Games were first held in 2018.
