AUBURN, Ala. – The Fighting Illini divers completed day one of the Auburn Diving Invite on Sunday, Dec. 18. This was the first day of women's competition and today's event was the one-meter dive. Three-meter and platform diving will take place on Dec. 19 and Dec. 20.

Four Illini divers competed today: Senior Erin Young, junior Brooke Michael, sophomore Hannah Hong and freshman Abby Manos. Michael and Hong both recorded new personal-best today, 258.35 and 210.80 respectively. Manos recorded a 204.2 and Young dove a 248.35 in the finals.
