Fighting Illini Football Prices Set for 2020 Season

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced season ticket prices for the 2020 Fighting Illini football season. Since December 1, Illinois football new tickets purchased or renewed for next season were locked in at 2019 prices. The new prices will be implemented beginning Friday, Feb. 7, giving fans a final two days to take advantage of last season's rates.
The 2020 home schedule features seven home games, including conference matchups against Purdue (Homecoming), Minnesota (Foundation Weekend), Iowa (Dads Day) and CFP Semifinalist Ohio State (Senior Day). The Fighting Illini open the year with three straight home contests against in-state foe Illinois State, UConn and Bowling Green.
Head coach Lovie Smith returns for his fifth year after leading the Illini to the Redbox Bowl in 2019, the program's first bowl game since the 2014 season. The Fighting Illini defense epitomized "Lovie Ball," leading the nation in defensive touchdowns with six and finishing in the top-five in fumbles recovered (2nd), fumbles forced (2nd), turnovers gained (4th). In all, the Illini ranked in the top-25 (out of 130 FBS teams) in eight statistical categories.
Junior linebacker Jake Hansen was the nation's leader in forced fumbles and ranked sixth in fumbles recovered. Offensively, starting quarterback Brandon Peters returns, as well as junior receiver Josh Imatorbhebhe, one of the top big-play threats in the nation after ranking 20th in FBS yards per reception and 25th in receiving touchdowns. On special teams, Big Ten Punter of the Year Blake Hayes averaged 44.6 yards per punt to lead the conference and rank 18th nationally.

For seats in the prime and sideline locations, the season ticket price increased $10 to $349 in the prime seats and $269 for sideline seats. Season ticket prices increased by $5 for the Orange and Blue zones as well as in the Horseshoe.
The popular I FUND Family Four Pack returns for its fourth year, providing four season tickets for all seven games for just $399 ($74.75 per season ticket), and includes a $100 I FUND membership in the Captain's Club. Captain's Club members are eligible for a complimentary season parking pass as part of their benefits.
