CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Illinois baseball team was selected for the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament, the NCAA announced Monday on its selection show on ESPNU. Illinois is a No. 2 seed and will travel to Oxford, Mississippi, to face No. 3-seed Clemson in the tournament's first round Friday at 3 p.m. CT televised nationally on ESPNU.
