CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Divers Ling Kuhn and Taylor Shegos will head to West Lafayette, Indiana, to compete for NCAA Championship berths at the Zone C Diving Championships, held on the campus of Purdue University. Kuhn will compete in both 3-meter and platform diving, while Shegos will take part in 1-meter and 3-meter events. 

Schedule of Events

Top 18 in springboard prelims, Top 12 in platform prelims advance to finals
Thursday at 12 p.m. – Men's 1-Meter, Women's 3-Meter
Friday at 12 p.m. – Women's 1-Meter, Men's 3-Meter
Saturday at 10 a.m. – Women's Platform, Men's Platform to follow (2 p.m.)

Automatic Qualifying Spots to NCAA Championships from Zone C

Top 12 in an event also qualify for NCAAs if she has already auto-qualified
1-Meter - Women: 9 
3-Meter - Women: 8 
Platform - Women: 12 

The top five female divers from each event at their respective zone diving meet will be eligible to compete at the NCAA Championships. Additional place finishers in each event at each zone will be eligible based on the number of student-athletes from that zone who finished in the top 16 in that event at the previous year's NCAA Championships. All eligible divers must have achieved the zone qualifying score prior to the NCAA Championships in all events they wish to participate.

Zone C is allotted nine spots on one-meter, eight spots on three-meter, and 12 spots on platform. Any diver that qualifies for the NCAA Championships will be allowed to optionally enter any other event(s) at the championships, provided that the diver finished in the top 12 at the same zone meet and has achieved the zone qualifying score for that event prior to the NCAA Championships.
