CHAMPAIGN –Fighting Illini men's golf returns to action on Sunday, October 20 at the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational. Held at Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, Florida, the three-day, 54-hole event is hosted by Central Florida and West Virginia.

Teams will play 18 holes each day, October 20-22, on the Par 72, 7,544-yard course at Isleworth Golf & Country Club, with tee times beginning at 7 a.m. CT. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat, and a recap will be posted on FightingIllini.com at the conclusion of each round.

Recognized as one of the premier collegiate events in the country, the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational welcomes the nation's top teams each season. The 2019 field is no different, as the tournament will welcome several teams ranked among the top 50 in the country according to Golfweek. In addition to the No. 31-ranked Illini, the field includes No. 2 Texas Tech, No. 14 Arizona State, No. 15 Auburn,  No. 20 Texas, No. 25 West Virginia, No. 26 LSU, No. 27 Vanderbilt, No. 34 South Carolina, No. 40 Minnesota, No. 45 Florida, No. 50 California, Augusta, UCF, UNLV and West Virginia.

The Illini are coming off of a seventh-place team finish at the Crooked Stick Invitational earlier this week. Two Illini earned spots among the top 25 individuals, led by senior Michael Feagles who tied for 13th with a 54-hole tally 4-over par. Feagles was joined among the top individuals by freshman Jerry Ji, who tied for 19th.
