CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Fighting Illini swimming and diving team will welcome Nebraska to the ARC Pool for senior day, as well as its annual Splash Bash on Saturday, January 26. Seniors Gabriele Serniute, Megan Vuong and Ling Kuhn will be honored following the conclusion of competition. 

Scouting the Cornhuskers

Nebraska enters the weekend with a dual record of 3-1 on the season, having picked up victories over South Dakota State (156-63), Northern Iowa (166-77) and Iowa State (184-115). Big Red's lone defeat came against Kansas (152-146). 

The Illini came up short against Nebraska a year ago in Champaign, losing by a score of 183-112. The two teams have been a close match dating back to the 2007-08 campaign, as the two teams have split the 10 meetings (5-5). 

Promotions - Splash Bash

The meet will be carnival themed and feature carnival games (Klinko, Bottle/Bean Bag Toss) and ticketed giveaways. Additionally, fans will earn tickets by participating in these games and then can enter their tickets to earn prizes. Furthermore, we will give away free Buffalo Wild Wings to fans in attendance.
