Illini look to Dual Season after a successful run at MLK Invitational

ATLANTA – The Illini men's tennis team had a strong showing at the MLK Invitational in Atlanta. Held at Georgia Tech's Ken Byers Tennis Complex, the three-day event from Jan. 19-21 served as the Orange and Blue's last tune-up tournament before heading into dual season.

No. 16 Illinois competed against players from No. 12 Georgia, No. 15 Columbia, and host Georgia Tech.

Up next, the Orange and Blue commence dual match season by hosting Duke on Friday, Feb. 1 at Atkins Tennis Center. The Zero Chill Night is slated for 6 p.m. CT and will feature Illini Knit Beanies for the first 100 students and providing Jimmy John's for food.
