Clinched the match for the Illini with a win over Mathew Tsolakyan, 5-7, 6-0, 6-4, vs. UCLA on Feb. 13 at Midtown Athletic Club in Chicago.
Won his seventh consecutive singles defeating Simon Soendergaard, 6-3, 6-3 vs. North Carolina on Feb. 9.
In an upset, Chakravarthi defeated No. 60 William Howells, 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 at Notre Dame on Feb. 6.
