Four former Illini are on 2016 NFL playoff rosters – Jeff Allen (Kansas City), Whitney Mercilus (Houston), Pierre Thomas (Washington) and Tavon Wilson (New England). Two were elminated during Wildcard weekend (Mercilus and Thomas) and the final two will face off this weekend when the Patriots (Wilson) host the Chiefs (Allen).
Jeff Allen, OL, Kansas City Chiefs (@JeffAllen71) – Allen started at left guard and helped pave the way for Kansas City's dominating 30-0 win at Houston. The Chiefs rolled up 314 total yards and the offensive line allowed three sacks on the day (all to former Illini Whitney Mercilus). Allen and the No. 5 seeded Chiefs travel to No. 2 seed New England for the Divisional round Saturday at 3:35 CT on CBS.
