The University of Illinois men's basketball team will host sister school Illinois-Springfield on Sunday at 2 p.m. in their lone exhibition game of the 2015-16 season. It will mark the first of five Fighting Illini "home" games at the Springfield Prairie Capital Convention Center while their regular home, State Farm Center, is undergoing a major renovation. The Orange and Blue will debut at the new State Farm Center on Dec. 2, when Notre Dame comes to Champaign-Urbana for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.Â

Fighting Illini Women's Basketball will open the 2015-16 season on Saturday, hosting the University of  Indianapolis in an exhibition matchup at Parkland College. The Illini and the Greyhounds will tip off at 2 p.m., Nov. 7 in the Dodds Athletic Center on the campus of Parkland College.Â

Fighting Illini fans serving in the U.S. armed forces have the opportunity to appear on the video board at the Nov. 14 Fighting Illini football game against Ohio State. In honor of Veterans Day, which is traditionally observed on Nov. 11, messages from military men and women will be shown on the Memorial Stadium video board during breaks in the matchup.
