CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Fighting Illini fans serving in the U.S. armed forces have the opportunity to appear on the video board at the Nov. 14 Fighting Illini football game against Ohio State (11 am CT kick). In honor of Veterans Day, which is traditionally observed on Nov. 11, messages from military men and women will be shown on the Memorial Stadium video board during breaks in the matchup.

Service members can record themselves giving a "shout-out" to their friends, family and fellow Fighting Illini fans, upload it to YouTube and complete the form HERE.

Selected shout-outs will be shown during Illinois' game against the Buckeyes on Nov. 14. Videos also may be posted to the Fighting Illini Athletics and Fighting Illini Football Facebook pages.

In addition, feel free to send us a picture of your "Illinois" loved one or friend who is currently serving our country, and we will recognize some of them during the game and on social media. Simply send the picture via twitter to @IlliniAthletics using ILLINI and THANKSVETERANS or by sending an email to illiniathletics@gmail.com.

Both video and picture submissions are due by Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 5 pm CST.
