On Nov. 10, 2007, the Fighting Illini shocked the college football world by stunning No. 1 Ohio State in Columbus, 28-21. Quarterback Juice Williams led the way, throwing a career-high four touchdown passes and capping the win with four rushing first downs as the Illini ran out the final eight minutes of clock to win the game.
It was the first time Illinois (8-3, 5-2 Big Ten) had beaten a No. 1 since 1956, and the first time it had done it away from home. The defeat also ended a conference and school streak of 20 Big Ten wins in a row by Ohio State (10-1, 6-1). Illinois would go on to play USC in the Rose Bowl and Ohio State would face LSU in the National Championship game.
On Oct. 30, 2014, the Big Ten Network aired a replay of the game as part of it's Great Games series. Williams watched the replay and live tweeted his thoughts on the game, providing unique insight on a historic win from @JuiceWilliamsQB.
