CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Eight members of the Fighting Illini swimming and diving team will travel to West Lafayette, Ind., this weekend to compete at the NCAA Last Chance Meet on Saturday at 10 a.m. CT.

"The last chance meet is an opportunity to attempt to make some NCAA qualifying times and go for some best times in other events," head coach Sue Novitsky said. "For the coaches it allows us to evaluate how the athletes tapered for the Big Ten Championships and work on any adjustments for the future if needed."

Juniors Sarah Coady and Alyssa Petruzzello, and freshmen Hailey Booth, Alexa Chavez, Kayla Dlugopolski, Mary Beth Howard, Megan Marchuk and Alison Meng will represent the Orange and Blue this weekend.
