Columbus, Ohio - Junior Britni Fisher and sophomore Tessa Adams wrapped up the 2010-11 swimming and diving season for the Fighting Illini at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships Friday afternoon at Ohio State. The duo did not qualify for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships next weekend.

Fisher tallied scores of 254.40 in the three-meter dive and 216.35 in the one-meter, while Adams earned scores of 180.85 in the three-meter and 231.10 in the one-meter.

"On the whole the meet went pretty well," diving coach Chris Waters said. "Britni (Fisher) had a pretty solid list on the three-meter on Thursday, and Tessa (Adams) put together a good list of dives on the one-meter. Unfortunately, they still each missed a dive, which is tough to overcome in a meet of this caliber. Fortunately, both girls stayed positive and kept aggressive on the boards. They took each dive one at a time and competed. I'm happy with the way they approached the meet throughout the week and know it will help them as we move into the off-season and into next year."
